Today I spotted a the flag of the Naval Association of Australia at Woy Woy, north of Sydney.
The flag of the Association is 'National Flag' blue, with the Australian
White Ensign in the canton. In the middle of the fly is a yellow stockless
anchor with 'reverse-S' chains on 'National Flag' blue, surrounded by a red
oval scroll bearing the words "Naval Association of Australia" in yellow
capital letters, all topped by a royal crown in full colours.
The design is similar to the ensigns of Naval Reserve Cadets
and other naval reserve training vessels, the
difference being on the badges.

An earlier version of the blue, red and gold badge was approved by King George VI. The current badge is a registered trademark and is placed in the fly centre of the flag. This flag is widely flown and displayed by many of the Association state sections and sub-sections.
Specified colours for the badge are:
Blue CMYK 87-79-0-0; Red CMYK 3-10-100-0; Gold CMYK 2-11-100-0.
In some state sections, the flag is also displayed as a parade banner carried by two people. It is defaced with bold gold upper case sans serif letters along the lower edge, inset slightly from the hoist and fly edges. Most show the current motto ONCE NAVY, ALWAYS NAVY which is also a registered trademark. The previous motto EACH FOR ALL – ALL FOR EACH has been seen on one flag in place of the current motto. Some other state sections use banners that are not based on the flag but are of completely different designs.
